“ Came here nonstop for an entire summer when I was in town. Amazing coffee (best around), great pastries, and a beautiful set up both indoors and outdoors. Right by the lake means a beautiful view, and sometimes they even have live music. It’s clearly one of the most popular spots in town! Shout out to the incredible service workers here! ”
“ Can’t imagine it has a high quality cafe located in Queen’s University. Thanks Kingstonlicious that we can try their high tea set. Simple but delicious. Doesn’t like high tea in hotel, but food quality is great. Each high tea for 2 comes with 2 tea, 2 full size of sandwiches and 6 different kinds of mini dessert. You can add wine to pair the food too. ”
“ Stumbled Upon This Place by chance as I didn't know it exists. Really nice ambiance & lake views. Nice selection of food & drinks. The best coffee shop I've seen in Kingston next Columbus Cafe. ”
“ Juniper has the best breakfast sandwich i ever had. Their pastries are so tasty also. My favourite is the vegetarian brie sandwich (even though i am not vegetarian). I’ve moved out of Kingston but still think about it all the time and every time i come back it is a must! The view to the lake is amazing and the place is so cozy. One of my favourite spots in the city! ”
“ I'm so thrilled to have discovered this place! I tried the Abner Mennonite salami sandwich, roasted beet salad, and the brown butter pecan cookie - all three were wonderful! Because I cook and bake a lot, I'm really particular about food, so finding a place that I'm genuinely blown away by is uncommon and very exciting! Juniper did just that! The foccacia is incredible; the amount of sauces and their flavour is perfect - especially the olive tapenade; the cookie was not too sweet and had an excellent texture; the amount of toppings on the salad was very generous but not overwhelming. I'm so happy to have my new favourite Kingston restaurant! ”
“ I visited the Juniper Cafe this February with a friend and we had a great experience. I ordered a latte and a ginger molasses cookie, both of which were absolutely delicious. The ambience is great; very cozy, casual and chill, with dainty/quirky elements and decor. It’s a small space so it can get crowded fast, but the seating is comfortable and the layout is utilized well, so as long as you don’t plan on going at peak times with a big group, you should be fine. Highly recommend ”
“ Sophie is such a doll! She is so engaging and helped me decide on lunch. I always get the Brie LT (classic) but was scared to venture and she helped me choose the chicken with zucchini pickles and OH MY! Soo good. I also got a blueberry muffin and the classic Matcha Latte. This is my favourite Juniper location and the food is almost as outstanding as the staff. The gentleman at the front with Sophie was so kind as well. You can feel the staff are happy to be here which is so important. ”
“ Visited this Cafe after our Kingston Pen tour. Ordered the buttersquash soup and a chicken sandwich. Both were decent. Service was good as food was brought out to us in the patio. Best thing is the view of the patio. There were a lot of bugs when we went unfortunately ”
